Summary of Key Duties for this position: u2022 Develop, modify, and apply rigorous quality principles for both in house and purchased software based systems, ensuring compliance with project, process, and contractual objectives. u2022 Validate test equipment (including HIL systems) by designing, specifying, and executing comprehensive inspection, verification, and validation test methods. u2022 Establish overall operating criteria that drive the software quality program and create/maintain robust development and maintenance processes. u2022 Define and execute an audit strategy to guarantee compliance with all system and software procedures. u2022 Continuously evaluate and analyze the software quality system to identify deficiencies, implement corrective actions, and verify that reliability metrics meet established standards. u2022 Conduct thorough software product reviews covering: Requirement specifications Design documents Source code Test plans and procedures Tools, techniques, and methodologies u2022 Ensure proper requirement allocation, traceability, and testability across the entire product lifecycle. u2022 Proactively develop innovative, cross disciplinary solutions to complex quality challenges with minimal day to day direction. u2022 Guide major projects from concept through completion, making long lasting decisions that shape the organizationu2019s technical posture. u2022 Engage regularly with senior leadership on strategic quality matters. u2022 Contribute new concepts and best practice frameworks and leverage full spectrum expertise in industry standards and company practices to drive continuous improvement and keep the organization at the forefront of software quality. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Experience with C++, C, and Python programming languages u2022 Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl u2022 Ability to produce detailed specifications, design documents, and test documentation. u2022 Standard teaming: Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams u2022 Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design, architecture, and integration & test u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in computer science, Aerospace Engineering, or other related degree program from an accredited college/university u2022 Active/Final Secret Clearance Desired Skills: u2022 Ability to read/write code in C, C++, and/or Java u2022 Knowledge of configuration management and control tools u2022 Technical experience in a related discipline (e.g., Quality Engineering, System Safety, Engineering, Manufacturing, Integration & Test) u2022 Experience in supporting Agile/Scrum software development u2022 Experience with ClearQuest, ClearCase, DOORS, and/or other Configuration Management tools u2022 Experience with Atlassian tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) u2022 Experience with code collaborator tools u2022 Ability to collaborate with current MRB certification. Experience making Preliminary Review / Material Review Board decisions. u2022 Experience in test planning, processing, and nonconformance processing, including root cause analysis and corrective action development u2022 Experience in establishing quality assurance performance metrics for identifying process improvement u2022 Experience with US Military customers and/or other government customer support organizations u2022 Experience working with space vehicle subcontractors and suppliers u2022 Lean/Six Sigma black (or green) belt u2022 ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) u2022 Knowledge of AS9100 requirements Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
