Electrou2011Mechanical Assembler Location: Waterbury, CT Shift: 1st Shift u2014 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Pay Rate: $17.00 u2013 $17.50 per hour Job Description The Electrou2011Mechanical Assembler is responsible for building a variety of electrou2011mechanical products used in customer applications. This role works from manufacturing procedures, method sheets, engineering drawings, bills of materials, and other technical documentation. Assemblers prepare subu2011assemblies, final assemblies, and related electronic, electrical, and mechanical components from start to finish. What You Will Do + Assemble individual electrou2011mechanical components and subu2011assemblies as required + Manually hold, align, or control components during assembly operations + Clean, wash, pressureu2011test, or handu2011repair components when necessary + Work from drawings, blueprints, sketches, verbal or written instructions, work orders, and process sheets + Follow materialu2011handling procedures for work order processing and inventory flooru2011stock maintenance + Obtain required parts and materials as needed + Prepare completed assemblies for shipment or storage + Perform alignment and adjustments using specialized hand tools to meet exact specifications + Meet assigned production and quality standards + Inspect work before, during, and after assembly to ensure compliance with specifications + Report defects, scrap, or production concerns to the Cell Leader or Supervisor + Maintain accurate documentation and production records + Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area + Crossu2011train and support other assembly areas as required + Perform other related duties as assigned What Weu2019re Looking For + High school diploma or GED + 1u20133 years of manufacturing experience and/or training, or equivalent + Versatility to perform a variety of assembly and soldering tasks + Good hand dexterity for handling small parts + Ability to read and interpret blueprints Additional Requirements + Ability to lift 20u201350 lbs occasionally, 10u201325 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs continuously + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day) + Strong manual dexterity and visual acuity + Experience using hand tools and calibrated measuring devices such as calipers, plug gauges, dial indicators, torque screwdrivers, torque wrenches, micrometers, oscilloscopes, and other specialized equipment Pay Details: $17.00 to $17.50 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
