Sign on Bonus for eligible new hires joining Seattle Children's This is a dynamic MA role for the Dermatology clinic to be part of a four person MA team who work closely with the nurses and providers (both MDs and APPs). There are three primary roles included in the job expectations: rooming, back-office work, and MA model of care (MOC) to support after visit instructions. Rooming will include opening and stocking rooms as well as closing the rooms, reviewing health history with patients and family, and preparing procedures. Back-office tasks include clinic preparation, records review, prior authorizations, and message management. MA MOC includes supporting providers for visits including writing after visit summaries and providing patient and family education. This position may occasionally work at the Bellevue location. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent experience Required Credentials Current Medical Assistant u2013 Certified designation by Washington Department of Health (DOH).Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS). Preferred Graduation from an accredited medical assistant programCurrent National Medical Assistant Association Certification (eligible for premium)Current Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care experience and/or Medical screening and immunization. Compensation Range $26.51 - $39.76 per hour Salary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
