Summary of Essential Duties: + Perform a broad range of scans from basic to somewhat complex (abdomen, pelvic, small parts, pediatrics, musculoskeletal) + Assist physicians in performing procedures, as well as transport medications from the delivery area to an authorized imaging area + Exercise your cultural competency in providing patient education + Maintain a safe environment while identifying and reporting any safety concerns Qualifications Education: + High School Diploma or GED required + Graduate of an accredited Sonography program required License/Certifications: + ARDMS OB/GYN or Abdomen certification required + BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required Experience: + A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech required + Experience in a hospital setting required Ultrasound, Sonography, Sonographer, Imaging, Radiology, Healthcare, Hospital, Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA, CaliforniaCedars-Sinai is an EEO employer.
