Bridge Engineer-Intern

Responsibilities:- Assist engineers with the design and analysis of highway and transit-related bridges and structures.- Support project teams with preparing plans, reports, and calculations.- Perform fieldwork including bridge inspections and data collection, as needed.- Conduct research and apply engineering principles to solve real-world design challenges.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a professional engineering environment.Requirements:- Must be pursuing a bachelors or master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.- Strong interest in bridge and transportation engineering.- Basic knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to engineering software (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD, or structural analysis programs) is a plus.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Required Submissions:- Resume- A copy of current, or most recent, school transcript (If you are applying via a 3rd party site that does not allow attachments, please email transcript is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer and complies with all applicable anti-discrimination laws.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
