This includes all necessary functions tou00a0maintainu00a0a clean and safe shop. Welder IIu00a0complies withu00a0all Company and Safety Policies and procedures in the performance of assigned duties. Welder II performs tack welding andu00a0finishu00a0welding of piping systemsu00a0utilizingu00a0both SMAW, FCAW, SAW, GTAW and GMAW welding procedures. Certificationu00a0tou00a0CCC proceduresu00a0required. Welder II welds small vessels and structural componentsu00a0utilizingu00a0SMAW, FCAW, SAW, GTAW and GMAW welding processes. Welder IIu00a0performs these procedures to meet CCC certified procedures. (These may include ASME, API, AWS, and ANSI code certification.) Materials may include carbon steel, stainlessu00a0steelu00a0and various other nickel-based alloys.u00a0Welder II is able to back-gouge using carbon-air-arc or plasma for full penetration welds.u00a0Welder II will clean and polish welds to company design specifications.u00a0Welder II is able to pass non-destructive testing of pressure retaining welds, on both pipe and vessels.u00a0Welder II works from drawings/sketches tou00a0determineu00a0weld size, weldu00a0locationu00a0and weld process.u00a0Welder II inspectsu00a0ownu00a0work to ensure complianceu00a0tou00a0drawings and weld procedures and makes necessary repairs.u00a0Welder II willu00a0assistu00a0with incomingu00a0partsu00a0inspection and final product inspection and completeu00a0appropriate documentation.u00a0Welder II willu00a0operateu00a0Fork trucks, jib cranes and overheadu00a0crane.
