Software Engineer IV

JOB REQUIREMENTS: - As a Software Engineer IV, your role will be tosupport our Electrification division by performing and leading a varietyof very complex engineering initiatives to design, plan, and oversee thearchitecture, design, development, and management of software systemsapplied to new or existing products. Evaluates progress and results ofprojects. Recommends changes in design, procedures or objectives asnecessary. #LI-LB1 #LI-Hybrid You will do this by: Developing andmanaging control system software architecture for complex integratedpower systems and without pre-defined requirements. UsingMATLAB/Simulink to create complex embedded control software andunderstands plant modelling and physics of systems being controlled.Deploying control algorithms to embedded controllers (rapid prototypingand production ECU) Creating very complex software requirements,specifications and validation plans from loosely formed project levelinputs. Partnering with other departments to help drive businessdecisions Developing engineering test standards Acting as a liaisonbetween other departments as necessary Developing very complex systemarchitectures across multiple product lines that enable cohesiveintegration, component maintainability, and reuse Owning the entireproduct software lifecycle.
