This position will be eligible for a sign-on bonus of $2,500FTE: 0.001 Standard Hours: Opitional Part Time Shift: Shift 1 ShiftDetails: Shifts can be 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 hours (3 shifts per month)Holidays: One Holiday a Year Weekends: One shift per Month Job Summary:At the direction of a radiologist or other providers, prepares patientsand performs radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology andoperates imaging equipment. Performs diagnostic studies according tospecific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriateradiation protection measures. Adheres to organizational customerservice standards and supports the organizational excellenceinitiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction andcommunication with patients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillaryservices and assists in patient care areas as necessary. Other duties asassigned EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: One year of current clinical experiencein diagnostic radiology is preferred. Clinical student experience may beconsidered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience. EDUCATIONDESCRIPTION: Post high school completion of an ARRT accreditedRadiologic Technology program is required. An additional 1-2 years ofcollege/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in ahealthcare related field is preferred but not required. SPECIAL SKILLSDESCRIPTION: Self-motivated; ability to organize and prioritize well;ability to remain flexible and to reorganize priorities when emergenciesarise. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnosticradiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required.American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the HealthcareProvider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 daysof hire.
