JobSummary: Join our Resource Pool Float RN team to gain training andexperience across a variety of departments. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Clinical competence andexperience in the care and management of acute care patient populationis required. A minimum of 12 months of recent inpatient hospital nursingexperience is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Professional knowledgeof nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired throughcompletion of education at an accredited School of Nursing in order tobe eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse is required. Upon hireany non-BSN nurse with less than one year of licensed registered nurseexperience will be required to enroll in a BSN (or higher nursingdegree) program. Acceptance into a program is expected within 15 monthsof hire and the degree program must be completed within 5 years ofenrollment, or 6 years if program is MSN, DNP or PhD in Nursing.Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or aMulti-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (NurseLicensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Supportfor the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent isrequired within 90 days of hire. American Heart Association (AHA)Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
