Remote Manual QA Tester

Job Description The Manual QA Tester is responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements and user stories, with a strong focus on ETL processes deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role performs functional, regression, integration, validation, and endu2011tou2011end testing, leveraging both manual testing workflows (documented in Excel) and automated test scripts built with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. The QA Tester collaborates closely with developers, product owners, and crossu2011functional teams to identify, log, and track defects through resolution using tools like JIRA, Rally, or Azure DevOps, while actively participating in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standu2011ups, and retrospectives. The role emphasizes test case traceability to business and technical requirements, clear and concise test documentation, and continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices. Additionally, the QA Tester utilizes AIu2011powered testing tools and coding assistants to accelerate test creation, enhance defect detection, and improve test maintenance, bringing 6u20138 years of experience in software and ETL testing, strong analytical and communication skills, and a solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, API testing, and cloudu2011based environments.
