HEREand#8217;S WHAT YOUand#8217;LL BE DOINGPerform highly complex managerial work administering the daily operations and activities of the Division Support Section of the Water Quality Planning Division of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, facilitating the division in accomplishing its mission.Manage and oversee the daily activities and operations of the section which include workloads for administrative functions, public information requests, travel coordination, website administration, grant management, contract management, and plete and oversee personnel management functions, which include interviewing, hiring, developing staff, performance management, municate pertinent information to staff, management, and internal and external stakeholders; coordinate section activities with other programs within the division and agency.Establish goals, objectives, guidance, and/or procedures for the section and propose recommendations to improve operations; develop and maintain section budget.Qualifications: REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCEExperience in the management of a business function, division, ordepartment relevant to raduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in a field relevant to assignment.Employees in this classification series may research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure, including but not limited to a communication infrastructure system, cybersecurity system, electric grid, hazardous waste treatment system, or water treatment facility. See Tex. Business Commerce Code Section 117.001(2). Accordingly, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the infrastructure is a requirement to be hired for and to continue to be employed with TCEQ.TRANSCRIPT/ COLLEGE HOURS or COURSE WORKSee instructionson how to attach documents.
