Job Location: Fort Worth, Texas Job Type: Full Time Shift(s) Available: 2nd Compensation: $23.25/hr Benefits Information + Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance + Health and Wellness Incentives + Paid Vacation and Holidays + 401(k) with Cargill matching contributions + Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) + Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance + Employee Assistance Program (EAP) + Tuition Reimbursement + Employee Discounts Principal Accountabilities + Serve as champion for food safety + Conduct pre-operational inspections and collaborate with USDA personnel to ensure regulatory readiness + Perform routine product monitoring, including fat analysis, shear testing, temperature verification, and moisture checks + Execute cook attribute evaluations and conduct sensory assessments to verify product quality + Administer and document test and hold procedures, and release procedures in alignment with FSQR protocols + Ensure strict adherence to GMPs, good housekeeping practices, and plant policies by all stakeholders + Accurately enter, track, and mantain quality data within digital systems + Perform basic preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration on FSQR laboratory and testing equipment + Apply strong decision making and problem-solving skills to resolve quality concerns and escalate issues when necessary + Utilize Microsoft Office and related technology to analyze, report, and communicate quality findings + Maintain mobility throughout the facility, includint standing, walking, and performing testing for extended periods + Lift and carry up to 60 lbs of product, or boxes with or without reasonable accommodation + Willing to train team members on FSQR procedures and methodologies Required Qualifications + Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship + Must be 18 years or older + Must be able to understand, speak, read and write English Preferred Qualifications + 2 years experience in manufacturing environment (70 for scoring weight) + Previous food safety or quality experience (30 for scoring weight) Please note that this position does not include relocation reimbursement.
