Material Service Partner Job Description Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC) Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC) has an outstanding opportunity for a Material Service Partner to join the SPD Central Processing team and work alongside some of the best medical providers in Philadelphia. Position Summary: The Materials Service Partner is responsible for moving case carts back and forth to the OR, picking and filling cases throughout the day, and scanning instruments in CensiTrac to ensure accurate tray locations. Additional duties include cleaning patient-issued equipment (e.g., commodes, infusion pumps, wound vacs), restocking shelves, managing unused loaner trays, and coordinating vendor pickups. Responsibilities: + Move surgical case carts between the OR and CPD. + Pick surgical cases and additional needed instruments throughout the day. + Restock shelves in the OR and CPD with unused surgical sets. + Scan shelves in the OR and CPD weekly to assure set locations in CensiTrac. + Clean and scan patient-issued equipment upon arrival to CPD; tag broken equipment. + Contact Biomed to retrieve broken patient equipment. + Move unused loaners to the loaner room/area for vendor pickup. + Contact vendor representatives to retrieve unused loaner trays. Minimum Requirements: + High School Diploma or equivalent education + Previous hospital workplace experience preferred Essential Skills/Abilities: + Ability to read and write English + Ability to operate a computer + Strong organizational skills We believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
