Department/Unit: HBD - Community Endo Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $51,755.37 - $77,633.06 Salary range: $27/hr. - $37.32/hr. LPN u2013 Per Diem Endocrinology Office Work schedule: Monday u2013 Friday Albany, NY Our Endocrinology Division is seeking a dynamic LPN to join our energetic, fast-paced work environment. We strive to work together as a team to deliver exceptional patient care Under the direction of the provider or Nurse Supervisor, the LPN will provide direct patient care and assist in the following clinical functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: u2022 Obtains and accurately records patientu2019s vital signsu2022 Documents components of patientu2019s historyu2022 Communicates in an open and appropriate manner with patients, visitors and staffu2022 Participates in in-office procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare provideru2022 Performs EKGu2019s and diagnostic CLIA waived testingu2022 Prescription call-backs per scope of practiceu2022 Preps patientu2019s chart for pertinent clinical informationu2022 Maintains inventory of supplies, and keeps patient examination rooms stockedu2022 Provides sample medication to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare provideru2022 Adheres to AMCu2019s regulatory compliance issuesu2022 Other responsibilities as assigned by management Minimum Requirements:u2022 High School diploma or equivalent is requiredu2022 Current NYS license as a Licensed Practical Nurseu2022 Previous experience in a patient care setting preferredu2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills u2022 Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from physicians, patients and their family members or other employees within the work setting Thank you for your interest in Albany Medical Centeru200b Albany Medical is an equal opportunity employer.
