Location: Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse, NYPay Rate: $55 $60 per hour Position SummaryUpstate University Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide occupational therapy services to adult patients across inpatient and outpatient acute care settings. The OT will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, assist with functional recovery, document progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.Weekend Requirement: One weekend per month Key Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy services as prescribed by physicians Evaluate patients and develop individualized care plans Assist patients in improving functional abilities for daily living Document patient progress and outcomes Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab team members Participate in rounds, care planning, and interdisciplinary communication Maintain therapy equipment and supplies Requirements Active New York State OT license or eligibility NBCOT certification Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience Tier 2 travel compliance Resume required for submission Must pass pre-employment health clearance
