Approximately 75% time will be spent in development of, orcontinued growth in, an independent research program; 25% time will bespent on clinical care and/or teaching activities. The candidate will beexpected to participate in interdisciplinary and collaborative effortswith other departments, schools and colleges. Joint appointments inother departments and schools at the University of Wisconsin can bearranged based upon the specific candidate. Salary is competitive andcontingent on experience and qualifications. We are located within theUniversity of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, andcollaborate closely with UW Health, the American Family Children'sHospital and the William S. Middleton Veterans Hospital as well as theStem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Center, the Program for AdvancedCell Therapy and Wisconsin Blood Cancer Research Institute. Weparticipate in numerous research consortia and encourage translation oflaboratory research into clinical trials, and conduct many novelinvestigator-initiated trials as well as industry-sponsored studies.
