Join us as our new Operator in Fermentation This position worksunder close supervision and is primarily responsible for operating inthe Fermentation department. The areas are defined as sanitizing,pelletizing/freeze drying, mixing, separating, and monitoring. Thisposition will work a 2, 2, 3 schedule with hours of 4:45am-5:15pm. Inthis role you'll make an impact by: Preparing, operating, adjusting,cleaning, and sanitizing fermentation and processing equipment inaccordance with quality standards, safety protocols, and standardizedwork procedures. Mixing raw materials, oversees fermentation processes,and performs downstream operations including separation and bulkpackaging. Handling materials, including transporting raw or finishedproducts to and from -55C freezers, stacking, labelling, verifying lotand batch numbers for traceability. Setting up, operating, or tendingmachines. Cleaning and sterilizing fermentation vessels, centrifuges,and auxiliary equipment. Tracking critical parameters (e.g. pH,dissolved oxygen, temperature, gravity, pressure) to ensure optimalmicrobial growth and yield. Collecting and submitting process samplesfor Quality Control testing as required. Documenting processes, ensuringcompliance with data record-keeping, managing material check-ins/outs,and adhering to strict SOPs. Identifying and troubleshooting equipmentor process issues and escalate as necessary. Performing troubleshootingfor equipment performance. Actively participating in continuousimprovement initiatives using Lean principles. Supporting team membersin trained areas as needed and performs other duties as assigned to meetproduction goals. To succeed you must hold: HS Diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in fermentation, food production, or manufacturingenvironments preferred. Familiarity with handling automated controlsystems is a plus. Ability to read, write and speak English. Ability toapply basic mathematical concepts to the production process includingconversion of weight and volume in the metric system. The ability toread and follow a production journal to produce batches. Ability tooperate a pallet walker and/or forklift, preferred. Ability to use basichand tools (hammer, screwdriver, wrench) for assembly and disassembly ofequipment. Ability to communicate effectively... For full info followapplication link.
