FTE: 0.400000 Shift: Shift 3 Flexible Scheduling: Position willfloat between Froedtert Hospital and Froedtert Bluemound Rehab Hospital.Job Summary: Join our Resource Pool Float RN team to gain training andexperience across a variety of departments. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Clinical competence andexperience in the care and management of acute care patient populationis required. A minimum of 12 months of recent inpatient hospital nursingexperience is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Professional knowledgeof nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired throughcompletion of education at an accredited School of Nursing in order tobe eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse is required. Upon hireany non-BSN nurse with less than one year of licensed registered nurseexperience will be required to enroll in a BSN (or higher nursingdegree) program. Acceptance into a program is expected within 15 monthsof hire and the degree program must be completed within 5 years ofenrollment, or 6 years if program is MSN, DNP or PhD in Nursing.Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or aMulti-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (NurseLicensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Supportfor the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent isrequired within 90 days of hire.
