We are all employee-owners at HDR, which is the foundation of our collaborative culture that connects employees around the the role of Civil Construction Inspector I, we'll count on you to:Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects related to civil infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations and pipelinesMonitor, record and inspect progress on construction projectsCoordinate field materials sampling and testing, including concrete slump and air testing, casting concrete test cylinders, and performing in-place soil compaction testingReceive general supervision from the Senior Inspector who reviews work while in progressPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsTechnical school or Associate degreeSome demonstrated experience in construction inspectionPrevious ODOT experienceRoad and bridge constructionAbility to interpret construction schedulesRequired QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentExperience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustHDR's Drug and Alcohol Policy supports our commitment to employee safety and exceeding client requirements.
