Data Engineer

Job Description A large financial organization is seeking a Data Engineer that can sit fully remote for a contract role. This individual will be joining migration project and focus on reporting activities for merger activities related to commercial billing data. You will help handle the design and construction of scalable management systems, ensure that all data systems meet company requirements, and also research new uses for data acquisition. Required to know and understand the ins and outs of the industry such as data mining practices, algorithms, and how data can be used. Primary Responsibilities: u2022 Design, construct, install, test and maintain data management systems. u2022 Build high-performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes. u2022 Ensure that all systems meet the business/company requirements as well as industry practices. u2022 Integrate up-and-coming data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures. u2022 Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production. u2022 Create custom software components and analytics applications. u2022 Research new uses for existing data. u2022 Employ an array of technological languages and tools to connect systems together. u2022 Collaborate with members of your team (eg, data architects, the IT team, data scientists) on the projectu2019s goals. u2022 Install/update disaster recovery procedures. u2022 Recommend different ways to constantly improve data reliability and quality.
