OH, the Maintenance Tech will perform essential job functions to maintain safe, productive operation of associated Thermal Processing equipment, such as Gas Powered Integral Oil Quench Furnaces, Sealed Retort Electric Nitriding Furnaces, and 6 Bar Pressure Quench Vacuum Furnaces, at the direction of the General Manager to meet customer specifications, including assisting other employees as needed.u00a0Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to, the following.- Implement the facility's preventative maintenance program.- Conduct scheduled inspections of fluid levels, water flows, quench oils, filters, washer soap, and similar items; notify supervisor of issues as needed.- Maintain a clean and organized environment in the Maintenance Department work area; promptly clean up after maintenance and repair work is completed within the facility.- Assist in equipment performance testing per company-wide and manufacturer's guidelines.- Perform corrective actions required for out-of-specification conditions as directed by the supervisor.- Assist in analytical troubleshooting of issues to maintain equipment, facilities, and vehicles.- Accurately record and document all completed maintenance, modifications, and repairs.- Maintain shop copies of manuals and blueprints in a neat and organized manner; provide others with updated information as required.- Run company errands and pick up equipment, materials, and supplies as needed.- Operate company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.- Promptly report observed equipment, facility, and vehicle repair or maintenance needs to the supervisor.- Make suggestions for changes that would help the facility achieve improved efficiency, quality, and safety.- Assist in maintaining the inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts.- This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customers' inventory and, as such, will perform duties safely and responsibly to prevent customer loss or damage.- Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism.u00a0Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.u00a0 The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.u00a0 Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permane
