Learn more about THAAD As the Systems Engineer supporting the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Weapon System Engineering, Integration, and Test (WSEIT) Weapon Systems Engineering (WSE) Design and Analysis Team, you will: u2022 Design & build modern Qt applications (Qt5 Qt6, javascript) that provide intuitive, responsive GUIs for model and simulation performance data. u2022 Create interactive data dashboards (real time plots, heat maps, 3 D visualizations, playback controls) using QtChart, QtDataVisualization, and Python based libraries (PyQt6, Matplotlib, Plotly) where appropriate. u2022 Integrate simulation data pipelines (high fidelity) into the dashboards, ensuring low latency updates and seamless user experience. u2022 Develop reusable UI components and widgets (custom plots, timeline controls, scenario selectors) that can be shared across multiple teams and other LockheedMartin programs. u2022 Database storage and retrieval Create and maintain database frameworks for large numeric databases. u2022 Write clean, well documented code and maintain comprehensive developer documentation for UI architecture, data formats, and dashboard workflows. u2022 Develop automated unit and integration test suites for UI components and data validation pipelines, supporting SCR verification. u2022 Support Linux build environments You can learn more about Huntsville, AL by visiting this link. - - - Learn more about Lockheed Martinu2019s comprehensive benefits package. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Knowledge of systems engineering concepts and processes u2022 Data Analytics and Visualization Background u2022 Active or Current Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship Required Desired Skills: u2022 Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related technical field and/or equivalent experience u2022 Understanding of overall system engineering process u2022 Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) design and analysis u2022 Medium or high fidelity simulation experience u2022 System performance assessment tactics u2022 Scripting with Python, Matlab, Unix, Linux, Shell, Bash, c++, etc... u2022 Ability to define and detail solutions to complex problems and to convey solutions to both senior management and to the customer u2022 Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors u2022 Knowledge of AGILE process Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
