We have many positions available that cater to different interests and skills. Salaries and hours vary by position and may include evenings, weekends and holidays. If you are lookingto work in a fun, fast-paced atmosphere and have meaningful impact on your community, the City of Reno Youth Division is that placeMINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:Youth Activity Lead:- Independently lead program curriculum and administrative projects.- Facilitate program direction and supervise junior staff.- Monitor and enforce policies, rules, and safety regulations governing the conduct of patrons and staff.Youth Activity Site Attendant III:- Independently leads participants in activities and/or may monitor activities led by other staff.- Communicates with patrons in alignment with Youth program standards.- May perform higher-level clerical functions such as drafting incident reports and maintaining documentation.Youth Activity Site Attendant II:- Leads participants in activities and directs facility use as assigned.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:Horticultural Attendant:- Water hanging baskets, planting, weeding in an outdoor environment.- Gather and remove garbage and litter from grounds and facilities.Idlewild Train Operator:- Operate and perform basic service of the children's train and related equipment.Park Maintenance Helper:- Perform a variety of maintenance and repair functions at City parks and related facilities including janitorial maintenance, turf maintenance, landscaping and general groundskeeping duties.
