Unlock your potential Job Summary and Qualifications Role Summary: Provides patient and family advocacy; clinical psychosocial assessment, diagnosis and appropriate clinical social work treatment/interventions/discharge planning to patients/ families identified as having significant social, emotional, mental and substance abuse issues. Strives to promote patient/family wellness, improved care outcomes, and access to appropriate and hospital and community resources for assigned patient population. What qualifications you will need: Required Education: MSW Preferred Education: MSW Required License: LCSWA and pass ASWB Clinical Evaluation Examination within 1 year; LCSW within 6 years. Preferred License: LCAS is preferred but not required. Required Experience: At least 6 months experience providing clinical psychosocial assessments in medical or psychiatric/substance abuse settings or LCSWAu2019s currently employed at Mission Hospital in a Social Work position. (Can be a field placement.) u2022 LCSWAs must complete clinical supervision hours in no less than 6 years and obtain LCSW. Preferred Experience: 5 years experience providing clinical psychosocial assessments in medical or psychiatric/substance abuse settings.
