CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Bridge Project Engineer to join our Bridge Team in Buffalo, NY; Rochester, NY; Syracuse, NY; or Albany, NY, where you will help lead the design, analysis, and delivery of innovative bridge and structural solutions. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of impactful projects, mentor emerging engineers, and play a key role in advancing our technical excellence across a wide range of transportation structures. What You'll Do: Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex bridge designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documentsPlan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with multidisciplinary engineering disciplines and project management staffMonitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital infrastructureComplete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutionsProvide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff What You Bring: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering requiredMinimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredAdvanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft OfficeStrong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering lawsProven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred Why You'll Love It Here: Lead impactful bridge projects that shape safer, stronger transportation networksMentor and inspire junior engineers dedicated to delivering sustainable solutionsCollaborate with talented professionals across multiple disciplines in a flexible work environmentCurious about the impactful work our Bridge team is doing?
