Job Description Position Summary: Temporary Postdoctoral Fellow positions may become available throughout the year in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology in the area of infectious disease research. This is an open pool and applications will be forwarded as position(s) become available. The Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology (MIP) Department is comprised of over 400 individuals who share a common passion for solving some of the most important human and animal health problems today. Research programs include those related to mycobacteria, retroviruses, prions, and arthropod-borne infectious diseases, as well as the diagnostic investigation of naturally-occurring animal diseases. A leader in education, MIP provides the only microbiology undergraduate degree program in Colorado, a graduate program that provides training in a number of cutting-edge disciplines, and several specialized veterinary residency training programs. Salary Range: $50,000 - $72,960. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Essential Job Duties: Essential job duties vary depending on the hiring laboratory and research program.
