BHN iscurrently seeking a Family Partner to join our Community Service Agency(CSA) team to support parents and caregivers of youth with behavioralhealth needs. Provide peersupport to parents and caregivers Help families identify strengths anddevelop strategies to meet care plan goals Educate families onnavigating child-serving systems such as DCF, DMH, education, andbehavioral health Empower families by linking them to peer networks andsupport groups Connect families with both formal and community-basedresources Foster a culturally responsive and inclusive environmentMaintain accurate and timely documentation Collaborate with care teamsand attend family planning meetings Actively engage in supervision andongoing training Who You Are: Bilingual- fluent in english and spanishYou have personal experience as a caregiver of a youth with special orbehavioral health needs You have a High School diploma/GED and at least2 years of experience working with children/adolescents/transition-ageyouth OR an Associate's Degree and 1 year of relevant experience OR aBachelor's Degree and 1 year of relevant experience You areknowledgeable about navigating child and family-serving systems You havestrong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills You arecomfortable using electronic systems and documentation tools You areculturally responsive and value diverse lived experiences You have avalid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle About BHN:Since 1938, BHN has been a regional leader in behavioral health, servingindividuals of all ages across Western Massachusetts.
