Verify and maintain records of incoming shipments, and route to processing areas. Demonstrate the Companyu2019s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. RESPONSIBILITIES Examine incoming shipments; reject damaged items; record shortages; correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages Match merchandise and quantities to purchase orders Receive merchandise using handheld units and route to processing areas Operate lift truck Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation QUALIFICATIONS Minimum High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus six months distribution/service center experience and six months order filler experience; or combination of relevant education and experience. Minimum 18 years of age Ability to pass drug test Ability to work in a fastpaced environment Ability to work weekends, work any shift, and overtime Accuracy/attention to detail Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projects Knowledge of standard product packaging and the ability to identify discrepancies Familiarity with distribution center receiving terms and processes Ability to operate a forklift, and pallet jack Fred Meyer lift truck certification/license Desired Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure Six months company distribution/service center experience
