Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team in Hampton Roads, Virginia. This role is pivotal in driving financial strategy, overseeing capital markets activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance standards. The ideal candidate will excel in complex, fast-paced environments and bring a strategic mindset to enhance organizational growth and performance. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop and implement enterprise-wide financial strategies to support long-term goals and value creation. u2022 Manage capital markets activities, including debt and equity transactions, refinancing, and structured financing initiatives. u2022 Act as the primary liaison with financial institutions, investors, and capital providers, fostering strong relationships. u2022 Oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, liquidity management, and performance analysis. u2022 Ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard organizational integrity. u2022 Monitor compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements. u2022 Provide strategic analysis for new initiatives, acquisitions, dispositions, and other business opportunities. u2022 Lead investor communications and deliver reports to the Board of Directors and external stakeholders. u2022 Optimize the organizationu2019s capital structure to balance liquidity, cost of capital, and financial flexibility. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to instill financial discipline across all operational units. Requirements u2022 Extensive experience in fast-paced, performance-driven environments. u2022 At least 10 years of leadership experience in private banking, investment banking, or profit-focused investment platforms. u2022 Proven track record of financial leadership within asset-intensive or real estate sectors. u2022 In-depth knowledge of capital markets, structured finance, and institutional investor engagement. u2022 Exceptional executive presence with strong communication skills to work effectively with Boards, investors, and senior leadership. u2022 Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on financial execution. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; advanced certifications or degrees are advantageous. u2022 Proficiency in GAAP accounting, regulatory compliance, and annual financial reporting processes.
