Security Clearance Type: None/Not Required Security Clearance Status: Not Required Performs a variety of manual/administrative task associated with inventory control, stockroom, kitting, expediting and shipping and receiving operations in accordance with established procedures. What You Will Do: + Receives, checks, stores, issues and ships a variety of items and maintains inventory control. + Uses assistance and/or powered mechanical means (not to include forklifts or high bay vehicles) to load, unload, store and deliver a variety of incoming and outgoing material. + Prepares and packages small and large parts using proper procedures and materials. + Processes purchase orders for spare tooling and materials. + Proficiently uses computer hardware/software. + Oversees parts preparation, material handling, measuring and packaging equipment; records calibration logs of tools and equipment. + Oversees inventory and maintains all government tooling property according to military regulations. + Maintains contact with personnel from various customers and supports areas to ensure accuracy of material/process. + Uses assorted measuring and weight recording devices. + Keeps equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean. + Performs related duties as required within the scope of this job function. Qualifications You Must Have: + Typically requires a HS Diploma or equivalent. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required. + Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Physical Capability : + Able to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to 25 pounds, demonstrating the physical endurance needed for the job. This position is considered safety-sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA's regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
