Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process.Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.Implement and monitor patient care plans.Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.Admit patients to NIC holding unit, performing assessments and completing required documentation per policy.Educate patient and family members regarding scheduled procedures and surrounding events.Follow established procedures for performing non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing and cardio versions.Thoroughly assess the patient and their history so that appropriate data can be acquired and appropriate testing can be performed.Notify proceduralist of findings that warrant attention prior to the procedures.Provide care to patients post procedure, implementing physician orders and readying patients for discharge or transfer to an impatient bed.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Education:Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.Additional Preferences No additional preferences.
