Accounts Payable Specialist

Description The Accounts Payable Specialist supports the full-cycle AP function for a growing manufacturing company, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fastu2011paced, inventoryu2011driven environment and is comfortable working with NetSuite and crossu2011functional teams such as procurement, operations, and supply chain. Key Responsibilities + Process highu2011volume vendor invoices, ensuring proper matching to purchase orders and receipts (3u2011way match). + Review invoices for accuracy, appropriate approvals, and correct GL coding. + Enter, track, and reconcile AP transactions in NetSuite, maintaining data integrity and consistency. + Prepare weekly payment runs (ACH, checks, wires) and ensure timely vendor payments. + Resolve invoice discrepancies by collaborating with purchasing, receiving, and vendors. + Maintain vendor records, Wu20119s, and support yearu2011end 1099 preparation. + Reconcile AP aging reports and assist with monthu2011end close activities. + Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries. + Assist with process improvements to streamline AP workflows and strengthen internal controls. + Provide general accounting support as needed in a smallu2011team environment. Requirements Required Qualifications + 2u20134+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing or inventoryu2011based company. + Handsu2011on experience with NetSuite (AP workflows, vendor management, PO matching). + Strong understanding of 3u2011way match, invoice coding, and AP best practices. + Proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas). + High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage competing deadlines. + Strong communication skills for working with vendors and internal teams. + Ability to work onu2011site in Newburgh, NY. Preferred Qualifications + Experience with inventory transactions or manufacturing workflows. + Familiarity with freight, raw materials, and productionu2011related invoicing. + Exposure to process improvement or AP automation tools. + Prior contractu2011tou2011hire experience or comfort working in a dynamic environment.
