Salary: $20.00 per hour Hours: 7am - 3:30pm, Monday-Friday Whatu2019s a typical day as Greenhouse Maintenance Technician? Youu2019ll be: + Maintaining and performing preventative maintenance on climate control systems, greenhouse structures, and equipment + Troubleshooting and providing technical solutions for greenhouse facility operations + Executing cooperative tasks to aid in the creation of new plant varieties + Safely using power tools and field equipment for maintenance and repairs + Monitoring and adjusting growing conditions such as fertigation, lighting, pests, and environmental factors + Operating modern computer systems for irrigation, climate control, and administration + Performing troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of irrigation systems + Carrying out pesticide spraying with a respirator after obtaining the required license + Working outside normal hours as needed for irrigation, pest control, crop assessment, and security This job might be an outstanding fit if you: + Have at least 1 year of maintenance experience in a greenhouse or agriculture environment (required) + Possess experience troubleshooting equipment and/or working in agricultural maintenance or construction (preferred) + Demonstrate good communication skills and willingness to learn new systems + Preferably have greenhouse and pesticide application experience + Are able to work weekends and after hours as required + Hold a valid driveru2019s license + Can work according to QHSE standards What happens next Once you apply, youu2019ll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
