You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of detailed mechanical design, requirements, layouts, analysis,componentselection, modeling, drafting, manufacturing, and test definition.This role will specifically support our stage integration engineering team, ensuring seamless assembly and integration of the rocket stages to meet our rigorous performance and safety standards.We are looking for someone to apply their technicalexpertise, leadership skills, and dedication to quality to positivelyimpactsafe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision isrequiredResponsibilities:Primary responsibility: Full design engineering ownership of metallic structural and associated thermal protection system components.Provide build support Engineering through the disposition of non-conformances, identification of process improvements, and updates to engineering definition.Identify,developand implement opportunities for New Glenn upgrades and improvements.Create andmodifydrawings, specifications, and other documentation.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering.4+ years of experience with automotive,aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.Materialselection,compatibilityand manufacturing techniques.Strong mechanical design and integration skills using 3D CAD software.Experience with GD&T analysis (ASME Y14.5).Take ownership of work andoperateunder minimal direction.Preferred Qualifications:6+ years of experience in the areas of thermal protection system development, testing, and data analysisFamiliarity with silicone adhesive and bonding processes.Knowledge of systems engineering practices, manufacturing fabrication and assembly processes, and quality control.Thermal Protection System DesignexperienceExperience with Creo (Pro/E), Windchill 10, and AnsysExperiencewith aerospace hardware design pensation Range for:WA applicants is $121,023.00 - $169,432.20Other site ranges may differCulture StatementDon't meet all desired requirements?
