The u200bTrust Administration Specialistu200b is primarily responsible for managing account administration processes in addition to having direct involvement, which includes account opening, closing and other matters as applicable. Direct contact with clients, beneficiaries, centers of influence and other internal departments and external vendors parties is required. In this role you will participate in other assigned projects and duties for the team, as needed, including serving as an administrator Subject Matter Expert in department initiatives as needed/requested. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: + Must effectively prioritize workflow and multiple priorities from trust officers based on client needs . + Work in a team environment and a dopt to trust work pro cess and practice changes and efficiencies as needed + A dheres to all external Office of the Comptroller of the Currency ( OCC ) regulatory requirements and internal standards, guidelines, policies and procedures . + P rimary s upport responsibility for certain account duties such as e xecuting daily transactions, reviewing legal documents, monitoring discretionary distributions, assisting with account reviews, monitoring of required correspondence, notices and other items with critical dates such a s tax deadlines. + Interacts directly with clients and beneficiaries regarding account specific needs , as well as internal and external contacts including wealth advisors, financial representatives, attorneys, CPAs and other professionals. + Execute proper account set up and closing and monitor proper trust accounting entries and tax coding of income and disbursements including discretionary distributions, and other accounting and reconciliation matters. This role is responsible for providing high-quality service to clients (and Financial Associates) and developing new relationships to promote the growth and profitability of Thrivent Trust. This role also includes coordination with external partners (Attorneys, CPAs), and internal support partners (Compliance, Investments, and Front Office) to ensure accurate , timely and efficient administration and to manage risk. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Required: + Associateu2019s degree in business or related field . + Minimum of 3 years banking, trust administration and/or estate settlement experience in a bank, law firm or trust department environment or related financial experience . + Ability to be an effective team player across multiple affiliates/departments + Detail oriented problem - solver who effectively prioritizes workflow and multiple priorities . + Ability to understand and work productively within a team environment and be able to adapt to a fluid environment . + Demonstrated goal-oriented self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision. + Strong written and oral communication skills + Proficie nt in Microsoft office Preferred: u200b + Bacheloru2019s degree in business, or related field. + Advanced training in trust operations, administration or related fields, Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) or Certified Securities Operations Professional (CSOP) designations desirable. + Demonstrated knowledge or experience with trust accounting or trust accounting systems. The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $26.53 - $35.90 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions.
