DOEOverviewWe are seeking a Fence Apprentice (Installer)to be part of a 2-3 person crew installing commercial permanent and temporary fence including: wood, chain link, PVC, aluminum, and more. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. Candidates are also eligible to join the PSG fence journeyman apprenticeship program.What You’ll Do:Installation and ProgrammingInstall commercial permanent and temporary fence according to specificationsPrepare the site by digging post holes and ensuring proper alignmentEnsure all installations are level, plumb, and secureOperate hand and power tools safely and efficientlyPerform routine maintenance and repairs on installed fences as neededCommunicate effectively with clients and team membersWhat You’ll Need:Diver's License & Clean MVR (with no suspensions within the last 3 years)Clean backgroundExperience:Minimum of 1 year of experience in fence installationTechnical Skills:Experience driving 2-3 ton trucks and towing trailers is a plusCommunication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical usersPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry equipment, work in various environments, and perform tasks that may require climbing ladders or working in confined spacesPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this position successfully.
