Sysco is seeking dependable Selectors to support operations at one of the nation’s leading foodservice distributors. This position is based in a busy, team-oriented warehouse environment where accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail are essential to daily success. Please note there is mandatory, multiple-day on-site training required for this position. Training includes both classroom instruction and hands-on, on-the-job learning. Responsibilities: Support selectors by staging pallets, replenishing pick slots, and organizing outbound product Break down boxes and remove empty pallets to maintain a clean and safe work area Scan and verify product labels to ensure accurate item handling Wrap and label completed pallets for shipping or staging Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts as needed Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse protocols at all times Maintain productivity and accuracy standards in alignment with warehouse expectations Skills: Ability to work on your feet for extended periods in a fast-paced warehouse setting Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly learn SKU numbers and product locations Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Basic familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners Clear communication skills and a commitment to following instructions Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy Requirements: Must wear approved safety gear including steel-toe boots and a high-visibility vest Clean and presentable appearance appropriate for a food distribution environment No loose clothing, jewelry, or accessories that may pose a safety hazard Hair must be tied back if shoulder-length or longer Must follow all Sysco safety, hygiene, and conduct policies while on site Must complete mandatory multi-day on-site training including classroom and hands-on instruction Must park in the main lot upon arrival and report to the front desk to check in Must present a valid government-issued ID upon arrival When working in a warehouse environment through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following: Working independently or in a team to pick, pack, and ship items Safely relocating or repacking inventory items as directed, up to 50 pounds in weight Operating machinery or other light equipment as trained in a safe and responsible manner Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the immediate supervisor Working on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift Comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipment There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants.
