We have recently expanded our capabilities as a single source supplier by adding a Mechanical Services Division as well as becoming a Misc. Steel manufacturer. These new services will reduce construction costs and eliminate coordination with multiple suppliers and subcontractors. Our focus will be to enhance the services provided to our General Contractor network nationwide. AEShas 4 different fabrication facility locations nationwide to assist our customers and reduce their freight cost and shipment lead timeA Machine Operator forLennox AES at our Tallassee, AL location is responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of various machinery, ensuring efficient production processes and meeting quality standards. This role may involve setting up machines, conducting troubleshooting, contributing to process improvement initiatives, and assisting in other areas.This will be a 3rd shift position with the following hours: Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6:30amDuties include, but are not limited to:Operate assigned machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.Set up machines for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting settings.Monitor machine outputs to ensure products meet quality standards.Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and any issues encountered.Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Identify and troubleshoot basic machine malfunctions.Perform basic, routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate smoothly.Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.Able to operate basic machinery (ex. Plasma table, slear or press brake)Able to work with a positive attitude and in a team setting.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Previousmanufacturing and machine operation experience.Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagramsAttention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Compensation:This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role is $19.50/hour with a shift differential of $1.50. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
