The HR intern will work with other departments on special projects to enhance knowledge base and expand learning experiences. This individual will report directly to the HR VP Operations.This internship offers hands-on learning opportunities in HR Compliance, Digital Transformation, HRIS Optimization, and AI-driven talent strategies. The selected candidate will gain practical exposure to regulatory compliance processes, contribute to digitization and workflow modernization initiatives, support optimization of HR systems and reporting tools, and explore innovative approaches to talent acquisition and workforce analytics using emerging AI technologies. This experience is designed to provide a well-rounded foundation in modern Human Resources Operations within a dynamic and growth-focused environment.Update and digitize records and policiesCollect and maintain department data for tracking key performance goalsOrganize, create, and maintain desk guides, FAQs, and checklistsAssist with employee engagement activities and company eventsConduct department research as neededSupport compliance efforts by helping maintain required employment documentationAssist other Human Resource Operations Departments as neededBachelor’s degree in HRM or currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or related fieldStrong written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteMust be a team playerCandidate must be a U.S. Citizen.Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a drug and breath alcohol test, along with a Motor Vehicle Record check.Basic understanding of labor lawsFamiliarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageousStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent administrative and organizational skillsStandard M-F business hours.Omega Technical Services is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and a trusted partner to the Department of Energy, Department of Defense, and other commercial clients, supporting mission-critical projects that shape national security and technological innovation.
