The Systems Furniture Project Coordinator must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance to support the govenment client with exeprienc coordinating new construction or minor renovation building projects where furniture selection is part of the projects. This role is covered by the CBA for Local 99.• Responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the installation, and removal of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.• Coordinates oversees and /or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians.• Provides regular updates to supervisors on the status of furniture/equipment procurement, set-up/install schedules, and relocation schedules.• Provides cost estimates for project budget development for all projects requiring furniture.• At least three years' experience in building interior space design for large facility or building projects (new and renovations) • Ability to coordinate multiple interior furniture projects • • Interfacing with government client(s), A&E firms, suppliers and construction trades • Understands space design, IT/Electrical drops, AV interface and other MEP, considerations as it relates to Interior space layout • Has experience creating estimates, writing scope documents ordering and tracking material•• Experience working with systems furniture is a requirement• Ability to work independently or in groups• Experience in researching and sourcing furniture buys including office furniture, various systems furniture, and case goods • • Experience with the major systems furniture lines such as Knoll, Haworth, Steelcase, Herman Miller and UNICORAs a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
