This role involves working collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students in achieving their physical and educational goals.u003c/pu003eu003cpu003eu003cstrongu003eKey Responsibilities:u003c/strongu003eu003c/pu003eu003culu003eu003cliu003eConduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' physical therapy needs within the educational environment.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs and goals.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eCollaborate with educators and other team members to integrate physical therapy strategies into students' daily activities and curriculum.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eProvide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eMonitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eEducate and train school staff and families on strategies to support students' physical development.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eParticipate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans.u003c/liu003eu003c/ulu003eu003cpu003eu003cstrongu003eQualifications:u003c/strongu003eu003c/pu003eu003culu003eu003cliu003eMaster’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eCurrent state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eExperience in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eStrong communication and interpersonal skills.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eCommitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in physical therapy.u003c/liu003eu003c/ulu003eu003cpu003eThis is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by helping them overcome physical challenges and achieve their educational objectives.
