Location This position will be based out of our office in the Energy Corridor in the greater Houston area, with extensive project travel. Responsibilities u2022 Mentor and help to grow Jr. Superintendents u2022 Develop and execute best in class EPC execution strategy and schedule aligned with best practices and industry knowledge. u2022 Work alongside Engineering and Procurement counterparts to ensure timely inputs are received and project goals are achieved. u2022 Serve as project representative with client, constructor, subcontractors, and vendors at kick-off meetings, job walks, project review, and other meetings and correspondence. u2022 Establish project procedures consistent with contractual documents and quality plans for all engineered work; determine and oversee all project controls, schedules, and budgets. u2022 Ensure all work products are consistent with industry standards and in accordance with good engineering practice and applicable codes, and in compliance with all pertinent legal codes and requirements. u2022 Maintain daily diary for record keeping purposes u2022 Understand and implement standard budgeting, forecasting and process practices through technology. Qualifications u2022 8+ years' construction experience with 3+ years being in a Superintendent/Leadership capacity u2022 Direct project oversight on EPC related projects where the work was self-performed craft supervision. u2022 Must be a self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision. u2022 Ability to quickly learn and understand various processes regarding Kiewitu2019s policies, procedures and software programs. u2022 Ability to identify and resolve any problems that may arise. u2022 Excellent organizational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills. u2022 Strong experience in Leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration.
