Minimum Qualifications:Candidates from outside and within State Service may be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement - Statewide (NY HELPS) program as a Registered Nurse Supervisor 1 Psychiatric if they have:u2022 License and current registration as a registered professional nurse in New York State, and u2022 3 years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness, addiction, or substance use disorders.Substitution: Bacheloru2019s degree in nursing can substitute for 1 year of post-licensure clinical nursing experience; and a masteru2019s degree in nursing can substitute for 2 years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience.
