Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description We are looking for an embedded software engineer to join the Twinsburg conversion team, where the candidate will be working with other lead engineers on the entire development life cycle for embedded software. The software has a key role in ensuring that aircraft electric power systems remain safe and reliable. In this role, the software engineer uses their knowledge of the embedded environment, the aircraft application, design assurance processes and aerospace industry trends to build reliability into each product. Essential Duties and Responsibilities u2022u2003Complete development lifecycle of the embedded software. u2022u2003Requirements authoring, reviewing and tracing. u2022u2003Software authoring and reviewing. u2022u2003Debugging software in an embedded environment. u2022u2003Root cause investigation for problem reports. u2022u2003Using development tools for analyzing software performance (stack/memory usage, timing margins, structural coverage of verification, etc.) u2022u2003Creating test strategies for software requirements. u2022u2003Support of investigation for software verification failures. u2022u2003Support of audits by customers and government authorities.
