Desktop Support Technician

Description We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania. In this long-term contract role, you will provide essential support for end-user computing needs, ensuring smooth technical operations. This position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and excels in troubleshooting, system support, and ticket management. Responsibilities: u2022 Deploy, configure, and repair Windows desktops, laptops, and associated peripherals. u2022 Offer support for software issues, ensuring functionality and resolving technical challenges. u2022 Manage service desk tickets, addressing approximately 5-7 daily and working through backlog tasks. u2022 Utilize Jira as a ticketing system for tracking and documenting all completed work. u2022 Deliver consistent technical support to end users, addressing their computing needs effectively. Requirements u2022 Proficiency in Active Directory. u2022 Experience with Microsoft Windows 10. u2022 Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues. u2022 Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems, such as Jira. u2022 Knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based systems and environments. u2022 Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize tasks effectively. u2022 Excellent communication skills for interacting with end users and team members.
