Hiring for Manufacturing Technicians in Richland, WA / Starting pay is $20-$23/hr DOE Job Description The Manufacturing Technician is integral to producing high-quality products efficiently, accurately, and safely. This role involves operating manufacturing equipment and in-process instrumentation to manufacture regulated products in compliance with Quality System Regulations, company policies, and applicable safety regulations. Attention to detail and adherence to guidelines are essential, as well as identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities + Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within established guidelines. + Manufacture, assemble, and ship regulated products and sub-assemblies, including radioactive medical devices. + Operate production equipment within a clean room environment. + Maintain records in compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures. + Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions. + Maintain organization and cleanliness of designated manufacturing areas. + Assist with in-process testing to ensure batches meet specifications. + Identify opportunities to improve processes, tooling, production equipment, assembly methods, materials, and parts. + Assist with maintenance activities. + Provide mentorship and coaching to junior Manufacturing Technicians. + Adhere to company operating principles to foster a positive and productive team culture. + Comply with company policies and procedures and follow all safety rules and precautions. + Access employee and/or patient PHI and ePHI only as needed for job-related functions. + Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Experience in medical device manufacturing, tooling, and quality inspection. + Proficiency with tools such as calipers and micrometers. + Competence in production, assembly, laboratory, and packaging environments. + High School degree or equivalent, with an Associateu2019s degree in a technical field preferred. + Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing/operations experience, including 1 year in medical device manufacturing preferred. + Experience handling radioactive materials in a radiation-controlled environment preferred. + Ability to effectively operate and communicate with cross-functional teams. + Capacity to manage multiple priorities. + Ability to read and interpret Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. + Proficiency in basic mathematical functions, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. + Capability to compute averages, rates, percentages, and interpret bar graphs. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associateu2019s degree in a technical field is preferred. + Experience in manufacturing and handling of radioactive materials. + Familiarity with Quality System Regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices. The position is largely stationary, with some movement required, and involves lifting items up to 50 lbs.
