Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Lake Elmo, Minnesota, and involves supporting a manufacturing environment through efficient management of accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate financial operations. Responsibilities: u2022 Process accounts payable transactions, including coding invoices and ensuring timely payment to vendors. u2022 Perform check runs and manage payment processing activities with high accuracy. u2022 Handle data entry tasks related to accounts payable, ensuring all records are up-to-date and error-free. u2022 Reconcile accounts payable balances and resolve discrepancies promptly. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to address invoice-related issues and maintain smooth operations. u2022 Monitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are made according to agreed terms. u2022 Prepare and maintain detailed records of payments for reporting and auditing purposes. u2022 Assist in implementing process improvements within the accounts payable function to enhance efficiency. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations in all accounts payable activities.
