Bookkeeper / Accounts Receivable / Customer Service Representative Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | $20-$23/HRSpringfield, IL An established lawn care and landscaping company in Springfield is seeking a Bookkeeper / AR Specialist / Customer Service Representative to support accounting, office administration, and dispatch operations. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity in a stable, service-based business environment. We are looking for someone with bookkeeping, accounts receivable, invoicing, and customer service experience who can manage financial records while supporting daily office operations. Key Responsibilities • Process customer invoices using contracts, work orders, and service documentation• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and post customer payments• Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and vendor bill payments• Prepare bank deposits and perform account reconciliations• Support payroll processing and payroll reconciliation• Maintain general ledger accuracy and financial documentation• Answer inbound customer service calls and resolve billing inquiries• Coordinate scheduling, routing, and dispatching of field service crews• Order office and shop supplies and manage inventory• Assist with administrative support, HR paperwork, and basic marketing updates Required Skills & Experience • 2+ years of bookkeeping, accounting clerk, AR/AP, or office manager experience• Experience with invoicing, billing cycles, payment posting, and reconciliations• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes• Payroll support or payroll processing experience preferred• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software systems• Strong customer service and phone communication skills• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, service-based office environment• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Experience in landscaping, construction, field service, home services, or small business accounting is a plus.
