HR Generalist

Description We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Portland, Tennessee. This role will involve managing key human resources functions, including employee relations, onboarding, HR administration, and benefits coordination. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring smooth HR operations. Responsibilities: u2022 Address employee relations matters by providing support, guidance, and resolutions. u2022 Administer human resources processes, including maintaining accurate records and compliance with policies. u2022 Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure new hires transition smoothly into the organization. u2022 Manage benefits administration, including enrollment, updates, and employee communication. u2022 Utilize HRIS systems to maintain workforce data and generate reports. u2022 Collaborate with management to implement HR policies and initiatives. u2022 Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance employee engagement and development. u2022 Maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations in all HR activities. u2022 Provide support during performance reviews and other HR-related evaluations. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in employee relations and resolving workplace issues. u2022 Strong knowledge of HR administration processes and policies. u2022 Hands-on experience with onboarding and employee orientation. u2022 Familiarity with benefits coordination and enrollment procedures. u2022 Proficiency in working with HRIS systems for data management and reporting. u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams. u2022 Ability to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. u2022 Capability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
