Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves managing full-cycle accounting tasks for multiple units, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to contribute to the companyu2019s success. Responsibilities: u2022 Handle full-cycle accounting responsibilities for assigned units, serving as their primary accountant. u2022 Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for each unit and ensure timely submission. u2022 Perform bank reconciliations and manage accruals, maintaining a thorough understanding of debits and credits. u2022 Assist with audits and provide accurate financial documentation as needed. u2022 Conduct variance analysis, manage sales tax filings, and oversee fixed asset accounting. u2022 Meet strict deadlines, ensuring financial reports are completed by the 15th of each month. u2022 Collaborate with Senior Accountants for guidance on escalated issues or technical inquiries. u2022 Utilize intermediate Excel proficiency for data analysis and reporting. u2022 Support continuous improvement initiatives within accounting processes and systems.
